Assessment Aims

This test aims to assess the English language proficiency of maritime professionals to ensure effective communication within the maritime working environment.

Assessment Objectives

1. Evaluate the participant’s understanding of Maritime English used onboard ships and offshore vessels.
2. Assess reading, listening, vocabulary, and grammar skills relevant to maritime operations.
3. Ensure seafarers are able to communicate clearly and safely with multinational crews.
4. Support compliance with international maritime communication standards.
