DP REVALIDATION / REFRESHER & COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT (DPO)

Course Aims

To assess and refresh the competence of experienced DPOs who have been away from DP operations or who require formal competency reassessment.

Course Objectives

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Reconfirm understanding of DP systems, redundancy, and failure modes.
2. Demonstrate safe practical DP operation in normal and abnormal conditions.
3. Correctly manage faults, failures, and emergencies.
4. Show effective decision-making, situational awareness, and teamwork.
5. Meet the required competency standard for DP operational duties.
